When the Tauberts started True North Hot Tubs last year, they did so with a common goal to treat their customers as they would want to be treated.

That’s why many of their customers have become “like friends,” explains Marie Taubert, co-owner of True North Hot Tubs along with her sons Barry and Richard.

The Taubert family purchased the assets of Moose Mountain Hot Tubs. During the negotiations, it was discovered that 24 known contracts were outstanding for Moose Mountain Hot Tub customers.

The family felt these people deserved their tubs and therefore made it part of the purchase agreement to supply the outstanding hot tubs.

True North is southern Alberta’s only hot tub manufacturer. The tubs are built to the customer’s specifications right on site in Calgary. “We have different moulds for the customer to choose from. They can also choose the number of jets and lights and waterfalls,” she says.

There are hot tub sizes for every lifestyle and budget. “Our hot tubs are made for Calgary weather and for Alberta. We do not import the tubs and because we make the tubs, we service the tubs. There is no middleman, so it’s much more economical.”

Custom hot tub covers are made on site and people can bring any covers that need repair work done.
