Jets - Troubleshooting

If jet will not turn off / on or operate correctly it is possible debris has lodged in the bearing or nozzle. Remove the jet from spa, rinse and clean all debris from the jet and the jet body.

If the jet is a spin jet you will need to make sure the bearing is not binding or the jet will not spin.

Jet will not stay in body
If jet pops out of the body when the pump is on, check the clips that hold the jet in place. If the clips are broken or bent out of place, the jet will need to be replaced.

Jet will not draw air
Make sure the jet is clean and correctly installed in the body. If the jet internal has o-ring(s) water may flood into the air track and that jet or all jets on that air control may not receive air.

Remember if any jet on that loop is not installed correctly, it may be the cause of air loss to other jets as well.

Jet color is fading
If the jet color is fading and the tail piece appears to be wearing away, the combination of water being “out of balance” and high sanitation levels have damaged the jet, and it may need to be replaced.
